Help Italia Day Hospital

During my staying in Zanzibar (5H1OC), I visited Italia Day Hospital (IDH), a rural health center that is located in the center of the island, in the area Mwera-Pongwe. It has been realized with the help of Mr. Domenico Palumbo, owner of Palumbo Reef Resort in Uroa.

Donations collected by a group of radioamateurs, who went to Zanzibar in 2014 (5I0DX DXpedition), allowed to finish the structure of an artesian well and to build a canopy in the internal yard of IDH, to let patients waiting for a visit be repaired from sun or rain.
